UTORrecover Billing Changes
Dear ITS UTORrecover customer,
I am writing on behalf of Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions (EIS) to share some upcoming changes to our UTORrecover institutional backup service billing procedures that will come into effect May 1st, 2024.
As part of our commitment to service improvement, we are excited to announce that we will be transitioning from the current
annual usage-based billing model to a monthly usage-based billing model for the ITS UTORrecover institutional data backup and
recovery service. The new monthly billing model will more accurately reflect your consumption of UTORrecover backup services
from month to month. Please note that there is no change to the amount we are charging for the service.
Your final annual UTORrecover Debit Memo will be issued in mid-March and will cover the period from
May 1, 2023 to April 30, 2024 as you would expect.
Starting June 1, 2024, departments will receive an integrated monthly ITS Private Cloud bill for May's backup usage that will
now include the itemized UTORrecover component for each virtual and/or physical machine being backed up.
EIS is pleased to serve your virtual server hosting and data protection needs at the university and we are committed to
providing you with the highest level of service and support. We will continue to identify opportunities for service
improvement and welcome your feedback as we grow our cloud and backup service offerings.
